My first album, Something I Lost, is now available everywhere online. Search for "robert allen kirby" on iTunes, rhapsody, emusic, amazon, etc... On the air! The Colorado Wave is featuring "10 Gallons" this week, on all stations, terrestrial, streaming, mobile, podcasts, aol-cbs, iradiola rocket radio. My first full length CD, Something I Lost, arrived. We recorded at Sawtelle Studio in Denver, with Brian Hunter as the coproducer and audio engineer. We mixed at The Mousetrap Recording Studio and mastered at Scooter's Place in Durango. Distributed through Colorado-based, Hapi Skratch Entertainment.

My Story: After a near fatal injury, I began to write songs and I found
this process to be healing. My singer/songerwriter inspirations are Tracy Chapman, Guy Clark, Merle Haggard, Townes Van Zandt, Willie Nelson, Taj Mahal, and John Prine. It is an honor to have attended Klein High School with Lyle Lovett. We shared early musical interests and songwriting enthusiasm. Lyle is my inspiration. PEACE, LOVE, LIFE, The tribal elders spoke of a yogi lion. Strange creature, stretching all day, roaring, shaking. Though not yet warriors, we creeped up and petted the beast and the lion smiled. Lion heard of a beautiful canyon many peaks away and bounded off to see. Lion approached, but clouds formed, dark & stormy, and Lion could not see, too many options. Lion slept as clouds cleared.
